New Uniform
All our staff at school today received our new uniform. It's a T-shirt sponsored by KK Bookstore (located at Miri Centrepoint). It looks better then those that were given to us in previous years. It's comfortable and the size fits me well. The only problem is that the fabric used is quite "transparent", which eventually lead to some complains from the female staff. But I think it should be ok. First, you're getting it for free, and second, you can always give it away and make someone (family member, friend, complete stranger etc...) happy. And God shall bless you... ;-) (or else give it to me, I don't mind..)

Sports Day - Ended (Yay!), Gundam Unicorn - In progress...
Finally my schools's Sports Day has ended. There isn't much to tell about it as nothing much happened (people jumping, running, chasing each other etc... boring..). Whatever... let's just forget about it.
Whatever
I did some work on my Gundam Unicorn "project" a few minutes ago. I separated all the parts from their runners and parts belonging to the same runner are kept in a container. Each container is labeled with a particular alphabet as marked on the runner where the parts belong to. That's about all I have time to do tonight so I'll continue working on the kit later. (Actually I have some paperwork to do but I'm soooo not into working right now... huh....)

I'm so tired (and annoyed)...
We are having our ??th Annual Sports Day today at Miri Stadium. Tomorrow will be the second/last day. I feel so tired and sleepy now... but I can't go to bed yet coz there's still something I want to do. Anyway, something annoying happened to me today back at the stadium. When I tried to re-enter the stadium (after going out to leave my backpack in my car), the secondary school students who were "guarding" the entrance (they were stationed there to prevent other students from going in and out of the stadium uncontrollably) wouldn't let me in. They didn't realize that I was one of the teachers! I felt really annoyed so I just went back to my car and sat in it till it was time to go home (waited for about half an hour). I didn't bother at all to tell the students who I am... because the same thing happened last year! (Was it the clothes?Or do I look just like another secondary school student?...I suppose it's the latter..heheeee..)

MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. Ka Part II
I just opened the box of my Unicorn Gundam Mobile Kit. As in the picture below, you can see that there's only white, black and fluorescent red/pink runners. Some people (esp. gundam modellers) might find those colors plain and boring compared to other gundam mobile kits (blue, yellow, red etc.)... but not me! I think it's great! After all, unicorns are supposed to be white, right?
The content. 11 packets of 18 runners.
(Both the GP01Fb and Mk-II have 15 runners each.)
Although the Unicorn has 3 more runners compared to the Mk-II,
both were sold at the same price (at Toysworld, Miri).

Next step, open the packets and start constructing!
MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. Ka
I just came back from Toysworld (a toy store located just behind Servay Hypermarket) a few hours ago... and I didn't came home empty handed! I got me a new toy (again)! The reason I went there was because I actually did want to buy a toy which was the RX-78-2 Gundam Model Kit from Bandai. I knew the store sells it because I've seen it there before. But just before I took it (RX-78-2) to the counter, I saw a box of RX-0 Unicorn Gundam! (it's the last Master Grade model released in December 2007, and it's hot!!) I tried to look around again and I found out that there were actually 5 to 6 boxes of it on sell. I've done some research on this model on the internet before and wished I'd own one... and now I do! So in the end I bought a Unicorn Gundam instead of the RX-78-2 intended. I was given a 10% discount for being a member of the store. Hehehe... (Actually I was also afraid that the item would be sold out before I could get my hands on one..) I'll blog some more about it later. Can't wait to open the box!

I want a new mobile phone!
I want a new mobile phone! ...so I got myself this month's issue of Mobile World mag . The mag sure does have lots of up to date info on mobile phones and advancements in communication technology, but this time, there wasn't anything that really interested me in it (I used to read this mag a lot a few years ago..lot's of interesting stuff back then..). At first I was reading but after a few minutes I was just flipping through the pages... It seems like the most change you can see on mobile phones these days are their looks and designs. Not much improvements on the features of the phones. Well, that how I see it..
But I don't care, I want a new mobile phone!

My Dad's Visit.
My dad arrived here in Miri this morning. He came all the way from Lundu to visit and stay with me for a few days. My dad took a bus from Lundu to Kuching and then another from Kuching to Miri. The journey was about 14 hours and 30 minutes as the bus departed from Kuching at 8pm last night and arrived at about 10.30am today.
Baram Express bus which my dad travelled on. It's a VIP bus. Meaning that there's much more seat space for passengers and there are single seats available. It doesn't sound much but it makes a big difference when travelling long distances. Furthermore it's priced at the same rate as "ordinary" express buses. Oh, I actually travelled on the same bus back to Kuching last Chinese New Year.
After breakfast/lunch, we went to Canada Hill SIB Church. We made it to the English Service which actually started an hour before.

My New Toys.
I got this Gundam RX178 Mk-II model kit a few days ago. It's a Master Grade Version 2.0 kit. This grade is in fact more complex to build compared to ordinary Master Grade kits. I spent almost three days completing it. It has fully articulated joints so it can be posed in lots of different ways. The only thing left to do now is to draw the panel lines and stick on the decals.

The Box.
The Skeletal System. It's very detailed.
Construction completed.
The model kit was packaged together with this great display stand.
Here's another model kit I bought almost two weeks ago. This kit is called Gundam GP01Fb. The box is much smaller compared to RX178 Mk-II's box. It's a Master Grade kit. It took about two days to complete. This kit is not as posable and less complex then the Mk-II hence the cheaper price (It's cheaper by about RM100). It didn't came with a display stand like the Mk-II so I had to buy one separately.
This package also includes a free cutting mat/mouse pad.
Complete.
